Not So Cute When George Mistakes Your Head For a Banana

Awwwwww.....that's what you think upon first viewing this image. Takes you back to childhood when you used to read The Adventures of Curious George. However at the age of 7 I knew that a monkey in bed with the man in the Yellow Hat was no more than fiction. Clearly some people never got this memo.

I should probably preface my tirade with the fact that I do not really care for animals unless they are on my plate. If you are a PETA member please do not do something crazy like deface my car!!

Herold had called Nash to her house to help get 14-year-old Travis back inside after he used a key to escape.

While her friend was being attacked, Herold was unable to pull the primate off. She then called 911 before stabbing the chimp with a butcher knife and hitting him with a shovel. Neither fazed Travis, who police said had been like a child to Herold.

A Stamford police officer later shot the chimp multiple times after the primate went after him inside a police cruiser, Conklin said. Travis returned to the house, where police found him dead. Conklin estimated that Travis weighed close to 200 pounds.

I saw the interview with the owner this morning on the Today Show where she said she mourns her friends injury and mourns the loss of her chimp. She said "he couldn't have been more my son if i gave birth"

Lady your "son" just attacked a human being. It was inappropriate for you to have a chimp living up in your house!! They said the chimp had over the years tried to take hers and a few neighbors cars for joy rides. The chimp was drawing pictures. The chimp could unlock doors, use a human toilet, etc. He was one advanced monkey! However he is also a wild animal. I have told people for years that this is why I do not F with animals. This woman raised the monkey from Birth was giving him lobster shrimp and filet mignon. Yet he still turned on her and sadly the friend. I can not feel bad for you and share your mourning over a monley. How many times must I tell people. ANIMALS ARE NOT PEOPLE............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was this womans friend. Who is currently in critical condition from the monkey mistaking her face for a banana. I would be like do not come see me in the hospital, friendship is over. Especially when you have the gaul to be boo hooing for King Kong on tv.

Now I understand that this womans only child died in a car crash and her husband died so the chimp was all she had. However, its still inappropriate and if she is looking for someone new to feed steak and lobsters to, she can surely come see me! I can not do any tricks in an Old Navy commercial but I sure love steak!
